Further to gaining a BA (Hons) business studies degree, I spent the past 24 years working in the event management and hospitality sector. 

               

Initially concentrating on venue sales and marketing, a combination of short and long term consultancy projects helped develop a wealth of experience in strategic planning as well as hands on delivery.  

Clients included golf clubs, rugby clubs and more specifically hotels.

 

Work within the Team Building and Corporate Hospitality sector gave me practical operational and organisational skills to run events and functions for a wide variety of organisations.

 

Building on previous years knowledge, I spent 9 years as Managing Director / co-owner and operator of Marsh Farm Hotel, and 5 years as Managing Director of Oyster Management Ltd, managing a further 3 hotels, under the Oyster Hotel Group.

 

Having  spent the past 10 years visiting Montauroux on holiday, it was clear that there was a gap between the high end luxury concierge led service and the key holder friend service.

The Striped Olive was set up to deliver a professional and personal service to a small client base to tailor solutions and ensure a value led service.
